Got the new CD - Around the Sound - and it's great blues! I've been playin' it every day on the way to work (what a concept)this past week since I got it. Can't get enough. I would recognize Steve's voice and guitar licks anywhere - we used to play together.

Cuz Ginger
Hi Steve! This is your cousin Ginger from California. Talked to your beautiful mama on the phone yesterday and asked her how you were doing. I decided to find out if your band had a website, and WOW, happy that you do. Tim says hi to you and we want to come up your way (summertime?) and listen to you in person, like the good ol' days at The Blue Room in Chicotown!
Love to you and the girls,
Ginger
The first time I heard "Don't You Know" I was visiting some friends in Spokane. That was the best Blues/Rock track I ever heard! I just had to have Loose Gravel's "Boulder In The Highway" CD. Well I made a copy on the computer and listened for months, what a great CD. Then my old player ate the CD, actually sucked it up inside somehow. When I got the CD out it was gouged and scrached. I was sad. Then I ordered a new CD @ CDBaby, what a awesome album. I put "Don't You Know" in my bands cover set and everyone loves it. Down here in Newport Beach, CA, we LOVE Loose Gravel and The Quary! I will be patiently waiting for the next CD.
Just saw that Al will be sitin in with you guys at the Halftime in G Harbor
tonight.....now that's a MUST SEE show!! I'll be there!! Gayle....Hope your doin better!!
Hi, I was wondering how Gayle is. I hope she able to enjoy her life. Tell Steve and Gayle they are in my prayers and thoughts always.
Hey fellas how's it going? I was just sitting here with my buddies in IRAQ bragging about you guys. I was just giving them a taste of some BOULDER IN THE HIGHWAY! They love it. I haven't seen you guys in a while. Last year I was in Bosnia, now here. Tell everyone I said HELLO. I will planning a trip up there around June time-frame with my girlfriend when I get back. You know I live in Texas now and the music, especially the blues, sucks here no matter what Mr. K Thurmond say's!! Keep Jamming. HEY check out Video.Google.com and search for "Blues In Bosnia" I think you'll love it! Miles Kendrick
Makes me feel not alone in the pain.

You guys are great! I have known John Burgess for almost 30 years as we we're involved in a band called "Spectra" in Paradise, Ca. a long time ago. Randy Bumpous the bass player of Spectra, god rest his soul, is no longer with us anymore. By the way John; Russel Jones says hello, he was the guitar player of Spectra. I guess Randy's ashes got sprinkled in Butte County somewhere. I got to see him on my birthday, April 4, 2006 in Chico, Ca. for one last time and he passed in September 2006. Love, Vanessa
Will be glad to see you again on the 4th.
Is "Blue Moon" still around? Like to"load him up.
B.I.
This is strange. I Googled Abe Shelby and came up with Loose Gravel & the Quarry. Glad I did. I listened to your stuff and now I know where to go for some good blues.
My husband and I played in a band (Sumpin' Else) with Abe in 1974 and haven't seen him since. Would love to see him agian. Maybe you could pass on my e-mail address to him. Thank you!
You should check out the Wild Buffalo in Bellingham. I got Linda Hornbuckle a gig there a few years ago and that worked out well for them.
Hope to see you guys soon. I loved what I heard!
